Marsha was born in Sweetwater, Texas to Marshall Baze and Hettie Leary Cox on September 21, 1950. The middle of three beautiful daughters. She was a retired Cosmetologist with over 30 years' expertise in her field.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Hettie Cox; her older sister, Linda Lerway; her brother-in-law, James Brisbin; and her sister-in-law, Joyce Droutsas. She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, James E. Brown; her two daughters, Shelley (Aaron) Nichols and their children, Marshall Hunt, Wyatt Hunt, Savannah Nichols, Danica Nichols; Melissa Cech (Jeff Cashill) and their children, Austin Cech and Audrey Cech; stepsons, Richard Brown (Suzie), Robert Brown (Sandy) and their son, Johnathan and Jeff Brown and his children, Robert Brown, Aurora Brown, Storey Brown and Ever Brown.

Marti graduated from Sweetwater High School. She was currently living near family in Houston. She made her way to Houston via Fort Worth, San Antonio, Bradenton, Florida and spent twenty years in Boerne, Texas. While living in Boerne, Texas for she established an amazing group of friends as part of a Bible Study group that gave her great pleasure. However, she always maintained her lifelong friendships with her high school friends from Sweetwater. Their annual girls' trip was one of the highlights of every year.

She was the heart and soul of our family and was lovingly called Bee, short for Honey Bee by her grandchildren. She and (Jim) PopPop loved to spend time with their 13 grandkids. They enjoyed attending their grandkids' football, basketball, and soccer games, swim meets, and school and birthday events. She loved hosting Christmas and Thanksgiving. Her favorite thing was when family was all together.

She had a special gift of loving anyone who needed it. She gave of her time, money and heart. She was the most thoughtful woman- she never forgot a holiday card or birthday. She was always there to wipe a tear, make a meal, show up for events... she loved Jesus, she knew the Word of God. Our family takes solace in knowing she is in heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She will be our angel, guiding and protecting us, all the rest of our days.
