Margie Carson

Margie Carson of Texas City, Texas passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at home.

Margie was born June 27, 1941 in Galveston, Texas to Aubrey and Lillie Thoede.

She was retired from S&M Electronics, which she owned and operated with her late husband, Sid Carson. She enjoyed many years of her daughters’ dance recitals, softball games and family vacations. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She also loved to cook and entertain. She really enjoyed football Sundays watching her favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines and appreciated music, especially Elivs. She loved to color and watch the Hallmark Channel.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Lillie and Aubrey Thoede.  Husband, Sidney H. Carson.

She is survived by her brother, Authur Thoede of Clear Lake, Texas and sister, Audrey Kerry of Grenta, LA. Daughter, Cindy and husband Tony Hendren of Texas City, Texas.  Daughter, Bridget and husband Gregg Ross of Austin, Texas. Daughter, Tammy and husband Troy Ridenour of Texas City, Texas. Grandchildren, Troy, Jr. & SueAnne and Ty Ridenour, Kevin and Shannon Ross and Cydni Hendren. Numerous cousins, neices and nephews.

In consideration of the current pancdemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a future time and date with the location to determined.

The family wishes to send special thanks to Laura LaBry, RN and Regina along with the entire staff of Essential Hospice and Pallative Care for their care and compassion.
