Joyce Howard

Joyce Howard, 85, of Texas City, TX went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2019.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home.   Funeral service will be immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

Joyce was born November 15, 1933 in Hampton, AK to Autry and Carrie Stringfellow.  She was a woman of God and spent her life taking care of others.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert O. Howard, her son, Roger Howard, her daughter, Jeanice Pursley, granddaughters Misty and Sunny, great-grandchildren Devin, Gavin, Christopher, Jayda and George and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce (Nanny/Aunt Joyce) lived her life by the Word of God and showed the love of Christ to everyone that she met.  She led many people to Christ in her years on earth and is now receiving her rewards in Heaven.
