Janice Lynn Dover

Janice Dover 58, of Texas City passed from this life Sunday, January 22, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 3, 1964 and was a lifelong resident of Texas City.

Janice proudly supported NASA/Johnson Space Center as an Office Design Specialist. Janice loved working at NASA and especially loved working with her friend Jessie Trujillo. When not working she enjoyed spending time with friends and alongside Hobie planned and hosted numerous benefits and fundraisers throughout Galveston County.

Janice is proceeded in death by her parents Larry and Linda Casteel. She is survived by her husband of 15 years Hobie Dover, sister, Joy Casteel; sons, Larry Armstrong and Thomas Armstrong; her beloved dogs Foxy and Penny; lifelong friend Venessa Henry-Jankowsi; and many more friends and family.

A Memorial will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, followed by a celebration of life at the American Legion Post 89 in Texas City.
