Obituary

Eugene “Bucky” W. McDonald, Jr. 63, of Santa Fe, Texas passed December 9, 2020.

Visitation will be January 14, 2021, at Emken Linton Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. On January 19, 2021 a burial service will commence at Mt. Olive Catholic Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. 

He was born February 8, 1957, in Texas City, Texas to the parents of Eugene W. McDonald, Sr. and Faye Castanie McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene W. McDonald, Sr. and Faye Castanie McDonald and his daughters’ mother, Terrie O’Hara.

He is survived by one sister Janice A. McDonald, one daughter Tara N. Mata and spouse  Cheyenne. He is also survived by one nephew Chad S. Kennedy and spouse Angela all of Santa Fe. He is further survived by one niece Brand F. Rost of Texas City. His grandchildren are Madyson Blake and Taylor, Cheyenne Jr., Brooklyn, Ryleigh and Kaidan Mata. Also survived by great nieces and nephews  Kayla McDonald, Kameron and Kyra Rost, Kyndal  and Caston Kennedy and great nephew Theo C. Winston V.

Pall Bearers are Chad Kennedy, Caston Kennedy,  Kameron Rost, Mark Gibbs, Melvin Green and Pete Noto.
