Edith (Styles) Cronk, 92, of Texas City, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family.

A Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2021, at Emken – Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.  Visitation will be an hour prior from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Edith was born Friday, November 30, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan to Ada (Carter) and Wilfred Styles. She married her high school sweetheart Gordon Cronk on September 3, 1948. She became a mother of seven children. Edith spent 46 years in Michigan and the last 46 years here in Texas City, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; son Martin “Bud” in 1975 and her grandson Robbie in 2007

Survivors include her loving husband, Gordon Cronk; daughters Sharon Daudt and husband  Steve, Ava Lynn Snyder and husband Randy, Glenda Jones, and Lana Gunhouse and partner Carl Moratt; daughter in law Marty Henry and husband Bob; sons William Cronk and wife Tammie Lee, and Robert Cronk and wife Tammy Sue; 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite Christian charity.
