Vi was born on January 7, 1929 in Hutchinson, Kansas. As a child she moved to Texas with her family and settled in Texas City where she met the love of her life, Buddy and they raised their five children. They were married almost 63 years when Buddy passed.
Vi was a devoted Mother/Wife and Co-Owner of Buddy’s Plumbing. After retirement, she and Buddy traveled the world enjoying each other’s company. She was a very creative person, enjoying a wide variety of crafts including embroidery, sewing, painting, playing the organ, and collectables. Her greatest skill, embroidery, was taught to her by her mother at the age of 4, and she created many beautiful pieces which were given as gifts to others throughout her life.

Vi is preceded in death by her beloved Buddy; her parents, James and Theresa Clark McMullen; siblings, James McMullen, Margaret McMullen, Dwayne McMullen and granddaughter, Sara Luerson.
